Video¶

When ShotWork opens a video it reads its exact frame rate, frame size, length in frames and embedded start timecode. It does not count frames by decoding the file, so opening a long film is quick.
If a video's frame rate varies, ShotWork warns you when it opens, because frame numbers in such a file may not land on the same pictures everywhere. See A video has a variable frame rate for how to convert it.
Audio¶

Images¶

Use a .png with a transparent background for a logo that sits over
footage. Vector .svg files are not accepted, because exporting a reel
composites pixel images.
