New shots are not showing

You see: A reel's shot picker does not list shots you have marked in another tab. Or the Library window's Files view does not list a new shot selects file. Or an AI assistant does not find them.

Why: The picker and the Library window read your shot selects when they open, and do not watch for changes. A shot selects file joins the library only once it has been saved or opened, so a never-saved one is not in it, and an assistant reads the saved files too. The picker also leaves out shots already on the reel, on purpose.

Fix:

1. Save the shot selects with Ctrl+S.
2. In the reel's Shots tab, choose the refresh button at the bottom of the picker, "Rescan the library for shots marked since this reel was opened".
3. In the Library window, choose its refresh button, "Re-read every registered file", or close and reopen the window.

If that didn't work: Open File › Library… and check that the shot selects file is listed in Files; add it with Add Selects… if it is not. See The Library window.
