ShotWork closed unexpectedlyΒΆ

You see: No message: ShotWork's window is gone. On the next launch, Recover unsaved work?.

Why: A crash with no message almost always comes from libmpv, the video player component, which runs inside ShotWork and takes it down when it fails. It is uncommon. Your work is safe up to about two seconds before the crash, because ShotWork snapshots unsaved changes as you go.

Fix:

  1. Start ShotWork again.
  2. Choose Yes in Recover unsaved work?.
  3. Save the recovered document.
